Radiesse
Often used to decrease wrinkles around the nose and mouth, Radiesse is a non-allergenic injectable filler. Under local anesthesia, a doctor will inject the gel beneath skin layers, a process taking up to 15 minutes. Results can last for two years or longer.
Sculptra
Sculptra is a filler used in the treatment of facial wrinkles and smile lines. The filler is injected beneath skin layers in a 15-30 minute procedure and can achieve up to an 80% visible improvement in the treatment areas.
Voluma
A specific form of Juvederm, Voluma is a long lasting, deep cheek injection employing only a single step. The injection by the dermatologist includes the addition of lidocaine to aid in decreasing any pain or discomfort that may accompany the shot. Voluma cheek injections show immediate results lasting as long as 18 months.
Botox
A chemical blocker and muscle paralytic, Botox prevents the usual contracting of muscles that lead to wrinkles. Botox is safely injected by a doctor in an up to 20 minute procedure. It is used to decrease the appearance of crow's feet around the eyes and for frown lines in between the eyebrows.
Fractional CO2
Fractional CO2 is an abrasive laser used to slough away skin. Lasers are used in the skin's deepest layer to target the tissue beneath the surface and encourage the growth of collagen. This procedure is especially effective for acne scars and wrinkles.
Chemical Peels
One or more chemicals in a variety of strengths are applied to the facial area by a doctor to remove surface skin layers and generate new skin cells. Results can last several months and are effective for age spots and fine lines.
